Week Beginning 16.6.25

At the end of last week, Year 4 visited the Tower of London. It was a long journey there and an even longer journey back, but it was definitely worth the travelling!

We arrived in time to see the incredible Crown Jewels before it got too busy. They were very impressive and we couldn't believe the amount of gold and precious jewels on display! Following this, we made a quick dash to the outer walls of the Tower of London so that we could see Tower Bridge being opened to allow a passing paddle steamer to pass through. It was very exciting to be able to see this from the battlements of the tower, even if it was a very quick climb up the steps! Luckily, we were able to sneak past the rather large and noisy raven to get there!

We were also very fortunate with the weather, which meant we could enjoy our packed lunches outside, before being guided around other parts of the site by an expert.

Despite the heat and glaring sun, we had a wonderful time and have probably told you all about it at home!
