This week in Reception the children continued to learn about Ocean habitats and our focus book was 'Billy's Bucket.' The children learned more about whales, dolphins, seahorses and more. In Maths we continued our learning on doubles and developing useful mathematical language, such as, " 8 is made of 4 and 4. 4 and 4 make 8.  The chlidren also practised spotting odd and even numbers, using Numicon and interlocking cubes to spot 'even tops' and 'odd blocks.'
