All around the Uk this week, schools are celebrating Science week. Here at Coten End we have thrown ourselves in fully!
 

In Year 4 we began the week by sharing our Science Fair projects from home. The children thoroughly enjoyed showing off and explaining their projects to some Year 1 visitors. It was lovely to see the Year 1 children asking questions and trying out some of the experiments. Thank you to the parents and carers who also came to visit our Science Fair. It was clear to see how much effort had been put into the projects at home.

We have also been lucky enough to have some visiting scientists from Fizzpop workshops who brought a range of tools and equipment to help us explore sound and the way it travels. This has built further on the learning we have been doing in our own Science lessons. The children had a brilliant time making a lot of noise!
