This week, Year 3 had an amazing experience exploring Ancient Egypt through virtual reality! As part of our history topic, the children put on special VR headsets and were instantly transported back in time to the land of pharaohs, the pyramids and the River Nile.  The children walked through giant temples, saw the Great Pyramid of Giza up close, and even peeked inside a tomb filled with ancient treasures.  Everyone was full of excitement and curiosity. The children learnt so much about Egyptian life and their gods — all without leaving the classroom.
